Ashley Monroe

Ashley Monroe is a country music singer and songwriter from America. After the release of two singles as well as an album entitled Satisfied in 2007, she formed an ensemble called Pistol Annies with Angaleena Presley and Miranda Lambert and released her second album, titled Like a Rose in 2013. With over fifteen years' working experience, she's worked in various positions within the public sector, which included five years as Iowa City's city manager position as Deputy. The position she is in now the Village Manager's Assistant and has a variety of responsibilities that include overseeing the Community Development and Building Department in charge of grants and special initiatives. Ashley's job as Riverside's Assistant Village Manager is to support in the day-to-day operations of village services, and to implement the strategy laid out by the elected officials. Ashley has served in a range of responsibilities previously, such as municipal planning and government communication collective bargaining for the budgeting of personnel in addition to focus on climate change projects. Ashley is able to draw on her experience working in a variety of local and national organisations. She has also acquired an understanding of the manner the public sector operates. Ashley's training focuses on contemporary strategies for leadership and management in the public sector from a perspective of an experienced professional. She focuses on adjusting strategic and ethical making to the needs of the present and how to navigate relationships between government and communities gives context and advice for those working in public institutions.
