Jessica Lucas had a bleak start to 2013. She was co-stars in Cult on 19th February, the program was cancelled two weeks later. In the following season, CW continued to air the show's remaining episodes. However, it was never a positive experience being in the 13-week drama that had been cancelled at the start. On the plus side, it seemed the actress' career was advancing fast on the big screen. In the film That Awkward Moment released in early the year 2014 Jessica Lucas played the lawyer and wife of American actor Michael B. Jordan. She is however involved in an affair with someone else. This woman has the upperhand. Lucas has a strong presence in the movies that she is in and the film is a buddy-film. The story is focused around the three lead characters. As mentioned earlier, Lucas took over the screen in her brief appearances in the scenes she appeared in in Paul W.S. Anderson period action-adventure film Pompeii. Shenae, AnnaLynne McCord, and Jessica Stroup were her co-stars on the new 90210. In 2009, she was cast in the highly-acclaimed reboot of popular 1990s television series Melrose Place as Riley Richmond an adorable elementary school teacher.
