Julie Chen Moonves hosted the popular reality TV show in the summer of Big Brother which returned to CBS for its 22nd season on the 5th of August. Chen Moonves had been the first of The Talk's hosts, hosting and moderating the talk show since 2010 to the year 2018, when she was the host. Her true passion was when she began writing her own show and won an Emmy. Also, she won one Emmy award for her outstanding host of a talk show. The show was hosted by her co-hosts CBS News weekday morning show The Early Show between 2002 between 2002 and 2010. Prior to that, Chen Moonves was the CBS Morning News' anchor in addition to being anchor of the news segment on The Early Show. Following 9/11, she traveled to Cairo to conduct an interesting and fascinating interview. Chen Moonves's interviews include newsmakers like ex- New York City City mayor Rudy Giuliani; Queen Rania Jordanian William Cohen (former Defense Secretary) as well as celebrities such as Denzel Washington. When she was finishing her last academic year at the university, she worked as an assistant at ABC News in Los Angeles (1990-1991) and was the producer of ABC NewsOne (the network's affiliated news channel). The desk was hers for ABC News' Nightline program featuring Ted Koppel. Ted Koppel is one of her journalists heroes. Chen Moonves collaborated with Koppel to produce the Columbia du-Pont-winning program Anatomy of a Riot which was a look at the Los Angeles riots of '92.
